The vote was started on 2020-09-11 and usually stays open for at least
3 days. There are enough votes for the release-vote to pass and there
have been no reports of any problems, and no "NO" votes.

So I suspect you'll have an official 9.0.38 sometime this week.

If you'd like to follow-along, you can subscribe to the dev@ mailing
list where all the votes are publicly-held. You can look at the
archives if you want to see the vote(s) but don't want to subscribe.

And I'll add that if, as it appears, that the 9.0.38 is important to you
then the most useful thing you can do is test the release candidate
*before* the release vote completes and, ideally, report back to the
community.

Problems reported before the release vote ends typically result in the
release voting being cancelled, the issue being fixed and a new release
being made. i.e. you get a release with the fix in a few days.

Problems reported after the release votes ends typically result in the
issue being fixed for the next release. i.e. you get a release with a
fix in around a month.

Mark
